Active membership
Active membership is available to those persons working in a professional human resource capacity in hospitals, clinics, other distinctly medical facilities or the corporate management or administrators of those facilities not having professional staff. Only active HHRMAC members may vote and hold office.

Student membership
Student membership is open to those engaged in the study of personnel management or healthcare administration. Student members may not vote or hold office.

Honorary life membership
Honorary life membership is conferred on those chosen by a unanimous vote of the board of directors for their outstanding service in the field of health care human resource administration.

HHRMAC’s Annual Institute
HHRMAC’s two-day annual statewide professional conference is an opportunity for sharing and learning in a stimulating professional environment:

• Statewide networking with peers

Membership roster
Each member receives access to the membership roster, which contains a listing of members by name and institution, via the Internet or hard copy.

HR ListServ
HR ListServ is an electronic mailing list that provides instant access to other Human Resource professionals who are subscribers. HR ListServ subscribers can draw on the expertise and experiences of other human resource professionals by posting a question or information. A multitude of subscribers will read the posted message and respond with a vast array of ideas and feedback.

HHRMAC Web Site
HHRMAC’s members have 24-hour access to HHRMAC’s web site. All the latest information regarding upcoming conferences, educational training, human resources employment opportunities, legislative updates affecting healthcare, policies and procedures and other exciting news is located on our web page at www.hhrmac.org. The HHRMAC web page also informs members of the latest issues affecting Healthcare Human Resources.

Networking
Membership in HHRMAC provides an excellent opportunity to develop professional relationships and to share common experiences.

Healthcare Human Resource Management University
HHRMU provides an opportunity for academic development in human resource management through a series of classes taught by senior professionals and individuals with expertise in course subject matter. Certificates are awarded to individuals who complete the required courses.
